Maserati Biturbo Si

The Biturbo was the first model that Maserati developed entirely from scratch after its takeover by Alejandro de Tomaso. Its concept therefore called for a compact, automated-production vehicle powered by a comparatively small engine. This was available in various displacement versions, and over time different specification levels were also offered for each version, giving rise to the designations Biturbo i, Biturbo S, Biturbo E, Biturbo ES and Biturbo Si.
