Maserati Khamsin

The wind that gave the new 2+2-seater coupé its name is a hot North African desert storm found in Egypt and Libya. The Khamsin was a remarkable vehicle: it was not only the last work of Giulio Alfieri as head of Maserati's development department, but also the first series-production Maserati to be designed by Bertone. It marked the end of an era that would not return until the 3200 GT in the late 1990s.
