Alfa Romeo Montreal

As a design study by Marcello Gandini (chief designer at Bertone), the car was first presented in 1967 at the Expo 67 world fair in Montreal. The venue also gave the car its name. Its exterior styling immediately caught the attention of experts, leading to the decision to put it into series production. Striking features are the headlights, partly concealed by louvred covers. While these covers were fixed on the show car at the world fair, on the production version they flip down when the lights are switched on.
