Maserati Mexico

At the 1966 Paris Motor Show, Maserati presented the Mexico, a luxury four-seater GT coupé with a notchback and an eight-cylinder V engine. The Mexico was based on a 1965 Bertone prototype, though the production version received bodywork by Vignale to a design by Michelotti. It sat on a tubular frame. The chassis was similar to that of other Maseratis of the time: independently suspended wheels at the front, a rigid axle on leaf springs at the rear, and disc brakes on all four wheels. 482 units were produced by 1973.
