Maserati 2 Posti Mistral

This car marked the start of Maserati's tradition of naming its Gran Turismo models after famous winds. A first prototype of the Mistral was unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in autumn 1963, but production only began in 1964. That same year also saw the debut of the open-top version, the Mistral Spyder. A very rare optional hardtop was designed for the car and made from aluminium. Today, the model ranks among the rarest and most sought-after classic Maserati models.
